Where the buffalo roam …

Custer State Park was on my agenda for today. It was a bit of a drive from here but well worth it! This is an amazing state park – one could spend several days here. I spent some time viewing a movie and looking at various displays in the park. I decided against any of the scenic drives – the one I could possibly due had heights of the tunnels of 11″. The van is 10″5″ … could make it but decided to enjoy the park another way … I didn’t want to be letting air out of my tires if I got stuck. Instead, I drove the Wildlife Loop Road. First stop was at a place where prairie dogs run about. The second was where the buffalo roamed around the road – up close and personal. The four-legged creatures were occupied with other vehicles. Learned a bit about the buffalo round up.
