The drive here waa incredible! Going through CO and the mountains was so beautiful. The GPS took me by way of some County Roads. As I bounced along, I pictured myself in a stage coach traveling to the west :). Following the CO river as I meandered through White River National Forest provided wonderful views on this clear day. The drive was intense so I stopped at a rest area where this picture was taken. You can capture, a bit, the enormity of the scenery. Arriving in UT was in stark contrast – a beauty of its own. This morning I needed the furnace going; tonight the air conditioning.

These “intense driving experiences” bring back so many memories of touring S. Dakota and Red Rock Canyon just outside of Vegas on our bikes. The scenery was amazing, but much care must be taken on a motorcycle. There were many intense moments, especially with the 1/2 dozen other bikes riding with you, but the views were spectacular!!!
I’m so happy to be able to trail after you in your blog, Jane!
