I’m back! I planned a little hiatus, spending time with my nephew and his family. However, that was extended a couple of days since I needed to get some work done on the camper. I really enjoyed my time with them and 10-month old Aiden. So, I included one of my favorite pictures of the little one. That being said, I was glad to get back on the road.
The campground I chose is right in the park – a great location. There is a shuttle that will take me to the various parts, which is a gift. It is a bit chillier here – when I woke up the morning, it was 17 degrees! I let the faucets drip overnight to prevent freezing and the heat is working fine.
As usual, I went to the visitor’s center to get some options for the next few days. I signed up for a three-hour jeep tour culminating with the sunset in the canyon. Rich, our tour guide took us to some pretty spectacular places. One of which was the Desert View Watchtower. This 70-foot stone building was completed in 1932 by
