On Friday, just as I was settling into bed and wanting to watch a Netfilx video, my I Pad slipped out of my hands and landed in this 1″ gap between the platform for the bed and the cabinets. I tried to retrieve it but to no avail – my little puggy hands could not bring it out.l I was grateful for the advertisement of a RV place in close proximity ..,. but they are not open on the weekends. Throughout the weekend I imagined all kinds of possibilities – the bed will need to be taken out, this cannot be rectified, etc.
This morning I headed to the RV place. I walked in and this young man, Austin, asked if he could help me. I relied my dilemma and he was ready to conquer this challenge. After gathering various tools, Austin brought my Ipad forward within 20 minutes! I was so excited! I asked Austin, who is the son of the owners of the RV place, what I owed him. He said nothing. I gave him some cash and he tried to give it back to me. It wasn’t much but I let him know that it was worth much more than that – I was ready to look for a new IPad! I went in to tell his parents what a wonderful son they had.
What a gift this experience was ..and a lesson for me to trust … all shall be well!
