Hiking in Yosemite

After a leisurely morning, I went to the park and was able to post the past couple of days reflections. I hiked to the upper and lower Yosemite falls. However, as I mentioned yesterday, because of the lack of water, they are dry. I also walked a moderate trail. Having basically the trail to myself, it was a lovely, quiet walk amid the beauty. I am re-entering this space. Yesterday Tyler, our guide, said that climbers start out on the “bunny hills.” Well I ran into just that as I watched several climbers make a climb on a small granite mountain. After the tour yesterday it was good to revisit some of the sites as I was familiar with some of the places. I had hoped to make it to the Ansel Adams studio. Some of his stunning black and white photographs were taken in Yosemite, particularly Half Dome. However, I wanted to get back to the campground before dark. As it was the setting sun was challenging as I headed west.
